Built from Options as a Strategic Investment (McMillan) — 42 chapters distilled into 16 modules across three phases: Crawl, Walk, Run.
Honest note on the source: the file is labeled "5th edition," but the actual scanned text inside is the 4th edition (copyright 2002) — the preface only describes changes through the "Fourth Edition," and the copyright page's ISBN matches the 4th edition, not the 5th. The mechanics, strategies, Greeks, and Black-Scholes math are all timeless and trade exactly the same today. What's dated: weekly/0DTE options and VIX products didn't exist yet, some "structured products" (PERCS, SIS) are now extinct, and the tax chapter needs current rules, not 2002 ones. I'll flag these spots inside the relevant modules and fill the gap with current context.

How each module will work
Same four-part pattern every time, so the format never gets in the way of the content.
1. LectureConcept explainer in plain language — the why before the how.
2. VisualInteractive payoff diagrams and Greek explorers you manipulate, not just stare at.
3. WorksheetPractice problems with real numbers, answers included.
4. CheckpointA few questions before moving on. If something's shaky, we stop and fix it there — no module gets built on a cracked foundation.
Canadian Options Supplement

What this U.S.-based course cannot tell you, because it's built for the CBOE/OCC system: how options actually work for a Canadian trading both Canadian and U.S. markets — accounts, tax, currency, and CDRs. Every strategy above still applies identically; this is the missing context, not a replacement.
